The parade always starts with representatives from the American Legion. The first group was from the Friday Harbor post.

followed by the Friday Harbor Women's Auxiliary which was in turn followed by.

The combined units of the Legion and the Auxiliary from Orcas.

Those running for political office like parades and neat old cars

The Friday Harbor High School Band

Uncle Sam had moving arms and is becoming a tradition in the Friday Harbor parades.
These are but a few of the marchers, but if you missed the parade, they give at least a hint of what you missed.
