07/05/2018: "Spooky Tales - Orcas Ghosts & Gremlins"
(Edited screen shot capture from orcasmuseums.org)
Have you heard about Hatchet Annie and the Boo Hag of Four Winds? Or what about the Handless Smuggler of the Outlook Inn? No? Well then, maybe you've been chased by the Flying Head!
These and many other stories of Orcas ghosts and gremlins will be told this summer at the Pioneer and Crow Valley Museums by Master Storyteller, Antoinette Botsford.
She'll also tell of local ghosts and sprinkle in a few asides of her own encounters with supernatural visitors. Be careful not to slip on the ectoplasmic overflow! Kid- and parent-appropriate, her stories will give you chills and thrills, but entertain most of all.
Wednesday and Friday evening performances will be about 60 eerie minutes long and each evening will be a little different.
The schedule is the same for every Wednesday and Friday through August: Friday, July 6 at 5:00 pm will be at the Crow Valley School House; Wednesday, July 11 at 8:00 pm moves to the Pioneer Museum (North Beach Road). Purchase tickets in advance through Brown Paper Tickets, at the museum, or by phone with a credit card at 360-376-4849. Ticket prices are $10 adults, $8 members, and $5 (under 18).
