11/29/2017: "I-5 -One Of Most Dangerous Highways"


According to a study published on Geotab, the busiest highway in our state is I-5, and it has had 245 crashes and 258 fatalities in the last ten years. That should be seen in the context that in round numbers 73 million vehicles travel the road a year, or 200 thousand a day.


Washington is listed at number 40, which is a long ways from number 1, Rhode Island’s total of only 39 fatal accidents in 10 years,
