The federal government allocates $400 billion dollars to communities like ours every year.
These funds can go toward schools, libraries, EMS services, Head Start programs, food banks, family resource centers, hospitals and more, and are dispersed according to census count.
In the 2000 census only 34% of all census forms mailed to San Juan County residents were completed and returned. We need to do better than that, so that we might receive our fair share of federal funding. Please fill out your census form and mail it in.
Your information is, by law, completely confidential. Please complete your census form. It’s good for our island communities!
