07/01/2009: "Flaggin School In July"
Want to have fun and get paid too? Meet nice people -and some not-so nice, work outside and start and stop traffic? Now it your chance to become a Flagger.
Skagit Valley College will offer a two-day flagging class on Monday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 29 at the Mount Vernon Campus from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a Washington State Traffic Control Flagger card that is valid for three years.
Students must be 18 years of age or older to receive the flagger card. The fee for this class is $49 and the instructor will be Mike Prindle.
